Pentecost Sunday Worship Service - May 23, 2021

Our May special mission is our own Deacons Fund. This fund is used for our church's Deacons ministry which includes paying for the food supplies used to prepare dinner at the Family Promise meals at Trinity House in Stirling, communion supplies, and the occasional financial support of church members in need. This fund has, in the past, been supported through a special envelope in our offering envelope boxes but as use of these envelopes as a means of contriubuting has dwindled, that Deacons Fund support has been forgotton. So, in this month of May, our special mission dollars will go toward replenishing our Deacons Fund so money is available when needed.

Here is a link to an illustrated story for children about Jesus'  Ascension and Pentecost. The illustrations are by a Dutch painter, Kees de Kort, who was especially interested in telling young children the stories of the Bible. You can certainly enjoy the story yourself, or share the link below with children you think might enjoy it.
